This week Chris & Dave discuss another tough loss for the Packers.

Chris said the Pack gets a 3rd rounder if the Jets make the playoffs, and a 2nd rounder if they make the SB. I thought the compensation for Favre was:
3rd Rounder
2nd Rounder if Jets make playoffs
1st Rounder if Jets make SB
Which is right? Anyone?

Does no one else see the possibility of a packers win out and 2 losses from min? remember we have the division tie breaker if that happens. I may be an optimist, but if the packers win in a convincing fashion against Houston I see this as a real possibility. Lets also not forget about the possible Williams suspensions for the final three games. Too bad the judge deciding the case is a Minnesota man who left the Reggie White case open so that all NFL matters go through him.

It started as a 4th rounder. The condition for making it a 3rd rounder was that Favre played 50 percent of the snaps. He have to play 70 percent of the snaps while the Jets makes the playoff for the pick to be a 2nd rounder. We will get a 1st rounder if the Jets makes the Super Bowl while Favre plays 80 percent of the snaps.

Also, we will get 3 1st rounders if the Jets trades him to the Vikings, but that seems pretty unlikely given the clause :-)

I don't know about that anymore. Suddenly their division is completely open, so they may not make the playoffs even thougt it seemed like a sure thing just two weeks ago. I like our odds though, and a 3rd rounder around #20 wouldnt be all that bad either.
