Could someone please post a list of all free agents from all teams I would appreciate it very much...

"Rrrrrrrrrrrr"
mancl
here is a list of big men from Pro Football Weekly. If you want the entire list you can go to their site.

I am sure there are some who will say the Packers should get Haynesworth or Peppers. Maybe they should but there is no way TT will. I can see them pursing an interior O lineman if there is someone who can play the ZBS. Can see them pursing a role playerp eg. a DT who can rush the passer .

Your list is easier to read- thanks Vinnie.

BTW, Pro Football Weekly has a look at how each team will approach free agency- took a quick look at it- doesn't look there is much out there to help the Packers.

I agree unless they pull off a Haynesworth deal- I give that > 1% chance of happening or maybe a trade.

Jason Fabini and Pete Kendall are two Guards I'd look at potentially.

What in particular about these two appeals to you? I ask because it looks like Fabini is a 34 year old backup and Kendall is 36 and undersized at under 290#. Don't think they represent much of a long term answer to the OL issues.
Heatseeker
Eeek, I didn't realize they were that old... carry on, these aren't the droids you're looking for.

Jordan Gross though... that would be nice.

Gimme some Sproles!!!!!!
It probably won't happen I think that LT is more expendable than Sproles at this point but it is still fun to dream.

Pickings are veeeery slim.

Some cheaper D-Line Free Agents:

Bertrand Berry, Arizona Cardinals
Maybe he's to0 old, but he could be a stop-gap. 5 sacks last year.

Jonathan Babineaux, Atlanta Falcons
A slightly smaller tackle (290), but someone who has some upside.

And expensive:

Albert Haynesworth, Tennessee Titans

1000 to 1 odds -- would take a 50 mil contract

Julius Peppers, Carolina Panthers

500 to 1 odds

I like Tank Johnson as a potential addition to the line. Bring him in, get Cullen Jenkins back, draft a D-lineman or two, and hope that Harrell contributes something, and I think that could be a nice upgrade from this past season.

Holy heck no.

He is one of the biggest headcases in the league and won't even be pursued by the NFL's rehab clinic in Dallas.

What are you basing this on?

News reports, suspensions, all verifiable accounts.

NT Tank Johnson. D. No impact at all. The Tank Johnson experiment in Dallas is over. Or at least it should be. Johnson was talking about becoming a free agent in the late stages of the season and even yelled he was a free agent as he walked into the locker room after the Eagles loss. Johnson had a fast start in training camp but fizzled out.

Yikes... I take it you live in Dallas then? I hadn't heard anything about him being a headcase this season... too bad, because he certainly has talent.

I like Berry because everybody knows he's not an every down guy anymore, but he's still a good rotation guy and can get after the quarterback. A healthy Jenkins + Berry would already be a huge upgrade over what we were trotting out onto the field opposite Kampman this season.

Also, don't forget Rocky Bernard, who Thompson went after a few years ago. He'd instantly be our best pass rusher at defensive tackle and a nice overall addition to our rotation there.

I am in no way affiliated with these guys, but their FA updates are very good. They listed some players I never would have thought of as potential targets, and include restricted FA's as well.

www.walterfootball.com

The Falcons have two guys coming up, Tyson Clabo (RFA, 27, RT) and Harvey Dahl (RFA, 28, OG) that could help this team on the OL.

Jahri Evans is a Guard for the Saints that's a RFA, 26, due for a MONSTOR contract. He'll likely get tagged, but maybe the Saints will listen to trade offers.

I would LOVE to raid the Ravens this year. They've got Suggs/Scott/Lewis up as FA's, one will be franchised, but someone I hadn't thought about was their young center, Jason Brown (26). He's one of the better young C's in the league and could help this team a lot (I don't think Spitz is a starting caliber player). Also he's unrestricted.

Owen Daniel's would look great in a Packers uni, but would likely require a trade as he's restricted. I know people are talking about Tony G for a 3rd, why not daniels?
