Except for all those times when he dove at the QBs knees, hit them helmet to helmet, and made comments about them including gratuitous use of the word 'spine', that Jared Allen has been nothing but a class act.

With this plus the Williams brothers suspension I think this could be the demise of the Viqueens.

I never really had a problem with Allen, but I can't help but despise anyone that wears a Vikings uniform. I'm hoping for a suspension. I love the taste of the tears from Vikings' fans.

Love the Scott Tenorman South Park refrence. laugh.gif

Luvda and I both know from living in KC that he is a cheap shot thug.

IMO, the NFL has gone too soft on the QB protection, throwing flags at the slightest hint of being late on a hit or a blow to the head.

Defenses are coming in at full steam and stopping at the very last second to keeep from hitting the QB can be almost impossible.

If the NFL wants to protect players, they should start handing out stiff penalties and suspensions for head hunting safties and corners that go after defensless WR's. Especially when the hit is not necessary.

I agree but this is not the case. The guy has been a cheap shot artist for years. This is just the latest.

Allen got a fine and not a suspension today.

The problem with Allen is he shows no remorse. Most guys would at least say they were slipping and momentum carried them into the low hit. He talks like he's proud he injured Schaub.

Allen reminds me of Romanowski's stories of what he did while taking steroids.
