I think The Pack offered him 1 million to be our backup this season, I'm guessing the Lions are paying him similar money. Interesting move half way through the season. What role is he expected to play at this point?

well, he is only 31, and was a very good QB before injuries set in ,so , who knows maybe they are looking to next year and a nice early pick in the draft, plus what they took from dallas.

They should get a top 3 pick. I don't know if there is a college Q.B. out there to warrant that pick, but regardless, I agree he'd be a o.k. stop gap in the grooming of the next Q.B.

I guess that means Stanton is there future and don't want to rush him in, smart move.

I Think Stanton will be a solid N.f.L starter, sorry I kind of forgot about him. They would be wise to draft another QB
Gregg
The thing about this is that Kitna is gone.

So now, after Millen and Martz, they are going to have to retool the offense.

The thing about Duante, is can they protect him? Since his injury he does not have the running ability he once did.

Tim Tebow???

God would that suck for Tebow...a Florida boy leaving the dominating Gators, only to go to Detroit?

He may have to start this week from what I've heard, due to injuries to the backup. All I want is a Raiders/ Lions matchup one time. Darn the schedule makers. They have no sense of humor.

well you do get 2 Chiefs-Raiders match-ups. That is just about as bad as the Lions. And if I recall correctly, they havent played yet so both games are on the horizon. And how about this winner: Every season the Chiefs play the Rams for "the Governor's Cup" in preseason.

I'm loving this signing. Culpepper is terrible, and he's been out of the game for how long now? He's going to be an INT machine.

Although I do have a faint sense of "Uh oh" when I consider what he was capable of the last time he had an All-World physical freak at WR to throw to...

Naaah, that's a pipe dream. Culpepper is garbage.
