It seems like Winslow might end up forcing the team to want to get rid of him. If the Browns said make a offer would you? If you did what is your offer?
I would take him. I would give a 1st a 5th and James Jones for Winslow and maybe throw in a 6th or 7th also on there part.

I'd love The Pack to have playmaker at the T.E. position and utilize the position more, but Winslow seems to be somewhat of a head case. Maybe a change of scenery would be good for him, but somehow I doubt it. Pass.

3 picks and talented strong WR for a guy whos been in the league for 4 years, has 2200 yards, 9TDs, has been suspended (but taken back) and hurt numerous times.
LOL, even TT could come up with something better then that and we all know the shrewd businessman he is.

Ok its two picks a 5th and a 1st. Also James Jones has not done anything this year so far when he has been on the field. I would give up a 1st and a fifth and Jones if you could get a young talnted TE like that.

I agree with the sentiment I quoted, but I'd go even further. A "me" person, not a "team" person. Definitely pass.

For what? Those 2 games? The guy has been hurt and he's been hurt a helluva lot less then Winslow has. Sorry if he hasnt caught 100 balls for 2000 yards and 30 TDs so far this year.
We have all seen this year what happens when you get rid of depth whether its on O or D.

Winslow's off field behavior limits my interest. Donald Driver is getting old, so I wouldn't want to part with Jones, and I don't think a first is indicated. Maybe a 3rd and 5th and no player, but even at that I would have to have some better indication that he wouldn't be a problem when he gets here.

I'd MUCH rather trade for Vernon Davis.
However...what about this if say Winslow was on the block...
A 3rd round pick and Ryan Grant (they need a RB) for Winslow. We still have Jackson (who I think is running better right now anyway) and you draft a running back in the 1st or 2nd round in the draft. Maybe shore up the OL with a FA, and voila!

If three years worth of Tony Gonzalez isn't worth a second round pick then this guy isn't worth the 2 bucks it takes to ride the PATH.

All this reminds me of the "let's offer Jennings and a 2nd for Chad Johnson" talk last year. Other teams' big names always seem so tempting. Fortunately, I don't think TT is so easily impressed.

To be fair though, the perceived upgrade of Chad Johnson over Greg Jennings wasn't nearly as big as the Winslow-Lee comparison.
I for one think a top-tier TE would do wonders for this offense.

No thanks on Winslow OR Davis. They both appear to be head cases.

Yes, a top flight TE would be great but we don't need either one of these two clowns...

Yeah, he seems like he's doing a decent job in Hotlanta. Granted, I think Winslow's ceiling is maybe higher than any other TE in the league, but yeah, he seems like he COULD be a head case.
On the other hand, I wonder what a change in scenery would do for him...

The TE we needed was there for the taking. His name is Tony Gonzalez.
These other guys would be a waste of draft picks or money.

I know. But by then there's a whole other group of interested parties. Maybe some money frees up elsewhere, injuries happen. It'll take that much more effort and will to get him, unless he really wants to come here.
We had a golden opportunity a couple weeks ago. Shame it didn't get done.

I know he's an idiot. But even upping the asking price to a second rounder, in retrospect, still would have been worth it. Let's hope a second is all it takes to get him in the off-season. And hopefully we get to compensate for that lost second rounder by gaining another second from the Jets.

Its ok if you feel he was worth a 2nd.

I would offer Donald Lee and a 4th round pick. He is a great player to have, wouldn't mind him.
