We have been thinking for some time about making things a little easier to navigate and today have done a little cleaning up by merging some sub forums in with main forums.

Please read the Forum index page for the changes.

A NEW PLAYBOOK? Just when I got used to the old one???

Sounds like you have been talking to McCarthy, Larry. wink.gif

No offense intended here Larry, but how does the creation of subforums make it easier? Instead of being able to see everything from the 1st page, you have to dig further to find what you're looking for. Please don't take this as a complaint, I'm sure we can all figure it out in about 5 minutes, but I'm not sure that this doesn't actually make a little more work for us.

Thanks for your comment.

As you get familiar working with the layout I think you will like it better. We went from 9 Main Forums to 6 so there should be less moving around and hence be easier to navigate within the entire Forums.

Are we going in a new direction? Do you still want me around? smile.gif

Imagine cleaning up your house after the biggest party EVER! I am sure the post count for this week exceeded any other week by leaps and bounds.

Great job and I appreciate this board.

I disagree - I think it's too compartmentalized. Having so many subforums makes it harder to find new threads and posts. Personal preference, and maybe I'm alone in this, but I'd rather see everything on one page and just not click on the stuff I'm not interested in.

I mean, when I come here, I'm usually not looking for info in a particular area. I would rather not have to navigate to 5 different forums to get all the latest.

Try "View New Posts" at the top of your screen.

would it be possible for the subforums to be bolded? I cant remember what is where and i find the small faded print hard to read. Thanks either way.

Sorry, sub forums cannot be made bold.

Is it possible to put a little checkmark on threads that you post in so you know what threads you have posted in?

No check mark but you can click on your user name and then from Profile Options click on Find Members posts.

Looks like this.

On the left under Active Stats there is more info.

As Larry said, there isn't a checkbox. There is another feature though that does show you what topics in a forum you have posted in. In front of each topic or thread there is a little icon that looks like of like a suitcase. It is Red or Blue (depending on the number of replies) and it is either bright colored (if there are new posts since your last looked at it) or faded colored (if there are none).

In the threads or topics that you have posted in, there will be a little white backwards L in the lower right corner of that suitcase looking thing. If that is there, that means you have posted at least once in the topic. I think that is what you are looking for (Then again, I may be way off base... it wouldn't surprise me. biggrin.gif ).

There is a thread titled “NFL Sunday Ticket, A good deal is clever if available” listed in the General Packers New Talk forum. I have Sunday NFL Ticket and DirecTV Super Fan and would be curious as to this deal, but the thread has been moved to a location I don’t have access to. I could care less about having access to whatever area this thread has been moved to, but I’d be interested in reading what this deal is if someone could PM me with its contents. I tried PM-ing a mod didn’t get a response. Below is the thread. Thanks.

Reading through a few threads just reminded me of how much I miss the level headed and unbiased poster GBXU. I wish he was still around.
