So with Brett's retirement are you still planning to keep his poster up in the basement or are the purse strings opening for a brand new #12 poster to take its place? In other words are you ready for a change?

I am ready for the change. In fact, I think I was ready for A change, although I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed Brett's final season and I would have loved to see him go back to another Super Bowl.

The change I am ready for is a quarterback with a more limited downside, even if there is a more limited upside. Meaning, I would like to see a steady QB with a high completion/low interception rate as opposed to Favre with a high (and amazing) upside, but a large downside. In terms of the investment field, I want low volatility for awhile.

Until #12 actually wins a few, a new poster will NOT be added. I do have space next to #4, but I am waiting to see who emerges as THE GUY.

no, i am not ready for a change, however,i am willing to accept it. I believe AR will lead us to the superbowl this year and win, however, our D will be there as well and in my opinion, they will be at their finest, holding teams to the fewest points this year, and scoring a bit as well. I also see our special teams dominating in points and blocked xp's and fg's as well. so i gues if this is the change bring it on! Go Packers!!!!!!!!! smile.gif

I'm ready for a change. As long as Rodgers doesn't start playing the "will I or won't I" game in the offseason- whether he'll sign, hold out- or retire.
I am glad Favre retired on his own terms. I wish him a happy and fulfilling retirement. I also hope he stops hinting he may come back. Personally, the next time that happens, I hope Deanna slaps him upside the head and tells him, "Enough is enough."
With their daughters waiting in reserve in case he didn't get the message.

As long as the media does not bother him with the questions, we will not see the drama. This whole thing took off primarily because Brett speaks what he is feeling and the media cannot handle it. We all have moments where we wonder. Brett wonders aloud. Once he first voiced it, the media continued to pursue the retirement thing as a story. No player under contract should be hounded about whether or not he will be returning. If he is going to retire, he will anounce it, otherwise leave the guy the heck alone.
