My conservative estimate would be something between a 9-7 and 11-5 season. Pulling out 12 or more wins with that schedule would be very impressive. It really depends on what these teams do over the off-season. Every team in the NFC North is just a couple players away from being extremely tough. Panthers and Falcons will probably both still be push-overs. Saints, Texans and Tampa could go either way. Indy will be tough. Jacksonville will likely be tough, and Tennessee should be. I expect the Cowboys to come back down to earth next year.
Now if the Packers go into this offseason and aggresively pursue building a championship team (ie. signing a free agent or two like 'Faneca'), I fully believe they could pull out another 13 win season.

Depending what TT does in the off season to maybe give us some help on the O line get another RB if Morency is not the guy and maybe more help at Safety. I say we win at least 12 we are a young team that will just get better every year.
Short of injuries why should we go backwards ????
Maybe Harrell become a big force Then Him and Pickett should be a great run stopping duo! We now have a great set of recievers. K-rob is a great return guy so is Blackmon.
We have some great Special Teamers. People were calling for ryans head but the Bear game was a total team glich!
People are saying this is a very hard schedule! It would be for a lesser team. The same was said last year about the 2007 schedule. Every game in the 2007 season was winable except maybe the Bears game. But we learn from mistakes. I doubt MM will let the guys huddle around the heater anytime soon!
I am just happy we are playing Tampa bay away... 1/2 hr from my house!
Jacksonville 2. 5 hrs from my house.
My wife always want to see New Orleans. So i will be going to 3 Packer games in one year which is pretty good for a guy from NY that up until Direct TV only got to see them play MAYBE once a year on the television!

What you have to keep in mind about the '07 schedule is that it didn't end up being as tough as it appeared at first blush.
St. Louis was expected to be a tough team, but they flopped hard due to injuries. Philadelphia wasn't as good as expected. We got the Chargers and Giants early, before they got their mojo. Delhomme went down early and the Panthers were never the same.
Basically, the schedule wasn't as tough as it first appeared on paper.
That's not to discount all those victories, of course.

This is very true a few teams That we thought may have been Losses were not like San Diego, Philly and Denver. St. Louis was expected to be a tough team, but they flopped hard due to injuries. Philadelphia wasn't as good as expected. We got the Chargers and Giants early, before they got their mojo. Delhomme went down early and the Panthers were never the same.

But at the same time ....... what is different for next year?
Most people at this site know a lot about football and a lot about the Packers.
But we do not know the variables that other teams are facing that may make them wins instead of loses next year.
In the NFL a team could be in the playoffs one year and go 4 and 12 the next. (trust me on this one
It is way too early to know with any amount of certainly how hard NEXT YEARS schedule is going to be or not be.
I am sure there are a lot of fans out there that put Ws next to their team on the day the played the Packers when they received the schedule last year.
Who knew the Packers would have been the NFC 2nd seed coming into the season.
Who knew the Bears, Lions and Vikings would Tank. Philly would not make the Playoffs, Tampa bay would win their division.
This schedule is a schedule for a first place team. We ARE AGAIN a first place team.
We play the Bears, Lions and Vikings twice all winnable games. So are the Falcons, Texans, Saints.
We are playing ten games against non playoff teams and six against playoff teams.
If we win the non playoff team games and split the game against the playoff teams
we are 13 - 3!
