Latest mock from Johnny Blood
trades:
trade down in 1st with New England. Give them #16 pick, #179 pick and KGB for #24 and #28 picks
trade #28 pick to Tampa Bay for #35 and #64 picks
free agency:
sign Deon Grant to shore up safety position
sign Tory James to be nickel back
draft:
#24 Dwayne Bowe - Not a burner but gets open and is a top red zone target. People forget speed isn’t everything, was Jerry Rice, Michael Irvin, or Sterling Sharpe that fast? I see Bowe in their mold and believe he will make a great pro
#35 Justin Harrell - with Harrell in the middle to compliment Pickett, nobody runs up the middle
#47 Antonio Pittman - running back that would fit in well with zone blocking scheme
#64 Dan Bazuin - high motor DE in the vein of Kampman who replaces KGB after trade
#78 Ben Patrick - a tight end in the mold of Mark Chmura
#109 Jared Zabransky - a very accurate QB and TT and MM really like him
#148 Mike Otto - a good LT prospect that will serve to back up Clifton and eventually take over
#217 David Ball - record setting small school receiver

Johnny, as always I love your mocks, and this is the best one yet. You must be my long lost twin, because we think almost exactly alike. I'm really high on Bowe, Pittman and Harrell right now, so of course if the packers ended up with these players, I would be ecstatic. Not only that, but for the most part, your mock draft is actually possible, because most of those players will probably be available in the rounds in which you have them.

time for another revision after the signing of Walker to be nickel back.
trades:
trade down in 1st with New England. Give them #16 pick, #179 pick and KGB for #24 and #28 picks
trade #28 pick to Tampa Bay for #35 and #64 picks
free agency:
Walker has been signed to play nickel
draft:
#24 Dwayne Bowe - Not a burner but gets open and is a top red zone target. People forget speed isn’t everything, was Jerry Rice, Michael Irvin, or Sterling Sharpe that fast? I see Bowe in their mold and believe he will make a great pro. Besides I don't much care for Randy Moss coming in via a trade.
#35 Justin Harrell - with Harrell in the middle to compliment Pickett, nobody runs up the middle. Why move up for Okoye? He seems to be moving up draft boards and may not be there, In which case the pick would be wr Sidney Rice giving the Packers 2 shots at getting a top red zone target, and if both pan out...
#47 Antonio Pittman - running back that would fit in well with zone blocking scheme
#64 Dan Bazuin - high motor DE in the vein of Kampman who replaces KGB after trade
#78 Ben Patrick - a tight end in the mold of Mark Chmura
#109 Jared Zabransky - a very accurate QB and TT and MM really like him, another possibility here is FB LeRon McClain who would solidify the fullback position.
#148 Mike Otto - a good LT prospect that will serve to back up Clifton and eventually take over
#210 Tyrone Brackenridge - a possible sleeper at corner, worth taking a flyer on in the 7th
#217 David Ball - record setting small school receiver

Johnny, I love your drafts too! Nice job.
Funny though, how people say Bowe isn't a burner but he ran a 4.4 and a 4.49 at his pro day workout!

Thanks, I try to be as realistic as i can. As for Bowe not being a burner, I'm of the opinion that burners run in the 4.3s or lower.

This looks great, call it a gut, but I don't think GB is sold on Lynch and there is some value in the 2nd round.

Johnny-I like either Rice or Bowe at 24,Rice a tad better,I like Harrell at 35,but I dont think he gets past the Colts at 32.I would take Hunt over Pittman at 47.In all, I like!
