Its been a while but I believe the stadium wasnt anywhere near capacity. I think they even moved people around so that the stadium would look full for tv shots.

With the amount of pressure Lombardi was under to win by his fellow NFC bigwigs, a reporter mentioned that Lombardi was visibly shaking from nerves before the game
