If Jordy is out another week, you think Ted brings in Chris? Bring the former Badger home and provide some veteran leadership...

Chambers is a vested veteran. As soon as he was cut he became a free agent and his old contract was null and void.
From PFT: "any team that lands Chambers on waivers will be required to pick up the balance of his $4.55 million base salary. If he clears waivers, he'll be entitled to collect the remaining $2.4 million as termination pay. He would be permitted to keep that amount even if he signs with a new team as an unrestricted free agent."

Chambers will be picked up by either the Rams or Bears.
The guy can still play and can help either of those teams.
I just hope the Bears don't get him.
A three wide of Knox, Hester and Chambers is scary.
Talk about speed.
The safeties could be 20 yards back pre snap.

He was claimed by the Chiefs about 4 hours ago.
